Frequently asked questions
What is a lab test at home?
It is a blood test or diagnostic screening completed without going to a clinic or laboratory. A licensed professional visits your home, collects the sample safely, and sends it to the laboratory for processing. Results are delivered to you digitally and reviewed by a doctor. It suits routine blood tests, preventive check-ups, vitamin and hormone panels, and bundled health packages.
How quickly will I get my results?
For our health packages, results are typically ready in about three hours from the moment the sample reaches the laboratory. Some specialised tests take longer, and we tell you the expected timing when you book rather than after.
Do I need to fast before my test?
Some tests need fasting and others do not — glucose, lipid profiles and certain metabolic panels usually do. We confirm exactly what your booking requires before the appointment, so you are never guessing on the morning.
How do I pay for a package?
You can pay online through a secure payment link when you book, or arrange payment over WhatsApp with our team. Prices shown on this site are the full retail price of the package — there is nothing added at the door.
Is this covered by my insurance?
Coverage depends on your policy and your insurer. Send us your details on WhatsApp and we will check what applies to you before you book, rather than after.
Can I book for a parent or a family member?
Yes, and many of our bookings are made exactly that way. You can book on someone else's behalf, and in the MetaDoc app you can add family members to your profile so their records and follow-ups stay in one place.
